Only red peppers….
Here are some pictures from one of my favorite destinations in Seoul….Sincheon!
Sincheon has everything from really authentic Korean restaurants, fun nightlife, and traditional Korean markets.
Below are some photos of specialty shops in Sincheon….

Only dried tiny fish….

I don’t know what these are…

Kinda gross, but here’s a gutted out sting-ray….

Only spices…..

Only poultry and eggs….

Only roots….

A busy intersection in Sincheon….

I took this picture from inside a restaurant called Wara Wara looking outside….

We had cold sake (the box thing in the corner) and pan-fried spicy chicken balls on a bed of cheese and peppers served on a hot iron pan and…….

Kimchi Soup!!! This particular soup has udon noodles….

I know this is stupid, but I had to get my picture taken on this sweet scooter. The proud owner is standing next to me, and was nice enough to let me get my picture taken ON the the scooter. He even showed me a button that raises and lowers the windshield. I know its just a scooter but this thing was so comfortable to sit on and looks pretty powerful. He told me it cost him $20,000,000 Korean won, which is about $15,000 US dollars. Pretty steep for a scooter.
Kimchi Soup is a blog journal managed by a Korean-American-Jewish adoptee (this is not a joke). Its sole purpose is to document the adventures of the author's return to Korea and to update his family and friends.
The author of this blog journal was adopted form Korea at the age of 6. He was adopted and raised by a Jewish-American family (not a joke). The purpose of his extended return trip to Korea is to learn more about his birth-family history, learn the Korean language, and immerse himself in daily Korean life to fully experience true Korean culture.
